The Olympic Center "Jahorina" has signed a cooperation agreement with the Association of Slovenian Ski Resorts, enabling a seasonal ski pass from Jahorina to be valid for three days in all Slovenian ski centers.
Similarly, a Slovenian seasonal ski pass will allow skiers to enjoy three days on the slopes of this Olympic mountain, according to a statement from the Olympic Center.
The center emphasized that this initiative marks another step toward the vision of "one region, one market, one ski pass."
In addition to ski resorts in Slovenia, Jahorina already collaborates with Sinaia in Romania, Mavrovo in North Macedonia, and ski resorts in Montenegro. These partnerships highlight the center’s commitment to expanding its network of cooperation and creating a unique tourism offering for skiers across the region.
Dejan Ljevnaić, Director of the Olympic Center "Jahorina," underlined the importance of the shared vision:
"We promote the concept of 'one region, one market,' and for 15 years, we’ve advocated for a unified offering for the entire region. A joint ski pass can contribute to reconciliation, prosperity, and development. This partnership is another step toward creating unforgettable experiences for skiers and proving that we can collaborate on major projects. By transforming competition into partnerships, we become competitive not only regionally but also in Europe and globally," Ljevnaić said.
He added that this initiative will provide skiers with a more dynamic winter vacation while ski centers collectively reduce promotion costs and enhance competitiveness.
This cooperation reaffirms the Olympic Center's dedication to working in the interest of skiers and connecting ski resorts across the region. The ultimate goal is for the Jahorina ski pass to be valid at all ski resorts from Slovenia to North Macedonia, thereby enriching the tourism offerings of the entire Balkans.
"We are a small geographical area with enormous potential, and the key to success lies in collaboration. Only through cooperation can we achieve great results," the Olympic Center stated.
