According to the Olympic Center “Jahorina,” a haven for winter sports lovers and nature enthusiasts, the mountain has officially entered its "winter mode."

The first snowfall on Jahorina began on October 2nd, and already the mountain boasts approximately 30 centimeters of snow cover.

As in previous years, the Olympic Center is continuing its popular initiative "Be a Child of Jahorina," aimed at elementary and high school students from the City of Istočno Sarajevo.

The program includes six municipalities: Istočna Ilidža, Istočno Novo Sarajevo, Pale, Sokolac, Trnovo, and Istočni Stari Grad, reaching approximately 4,500 children.

An official letter was sent to schools, with registrations open until October 1st. The distribution of season passes will take place from October 6th to October 31st, 2025, daily from 08:30 to 15:30 at the Poljice ticket office.

The season passes provided through the “Be a Child of Jahorina” campaign are strictly for registered children only. They cannot be transferred, sold, or used in any other way. Any misuse will result in immediate deactivation of the pass.

Access to the slopes is managed via a ski data system. Each time a pass is used, the holder's photo is checked to ensure that the card is being used by the registered child, ensuring full control and preventing unauthorized use.
