TENTH ANNUAL “ŠESNAESTOMAJSKA” CYCLING EVENT CELEBRATES PRIJEDOR AND HEALTHY LIFESTYLE

The 10th edition of the Šesnaestomajska Cycling Event in honor of the city of Prijedor gathered several hundred cyclists who rode through city streets to promote cycling as both a sport and a healthy lifestyle.

The event was organized by the Tourist Organization of Prijedor, in cooperation with the “Kozara” Cycling Club, the Republic of Srpska Traffic Safety Agency, and AMS RS, which provided a special traffic training course for the youngest participants.

As part of this year's event, a total of 11 bicycles were awarded to lucky participants, along with many other valuable prizes thanks to the support of generous sponsors and partners.

Special awards were also given in three categories:

The youngest participant award went to Marija Dragojević

The oldest participant award went to Mirko Šajić

The most original bicycle award was given to Teodor Vasiljević

The event was supported by: City of Prijedor, LD Bike, Termoklima, ArcelorMittal, RŽR Ljubija, Kapetan Furniture Salon, Planet Bike, East Code, Niskogradnja Marjanović, Ognjen Sladaković, Mira d.o.o. The cycling event was also supported by volunteers from the Prijedor Youth Council and students of Boris Eremić’s drawing and painting school.
