Gatačka Tepsija is a dish made from the meat of an indigenous type of cattle from Herzegovina – the Gatačko goveče.
This native breed of gray cattle grazes on medicinal herbs
on the slopes of Herzegovinian mountains, giving the meat a unique aroma.
The meat, cheese, kaymak, or skorup are of exceptional
quality and taste, and these products can be enjoyed in one of the restaurants
in Gacko or purchased at the local green market.
