WHO WILL PERFORM IN BANJA LUKA FOR THE ORTHODOX NEW YEAR?

Ethno music groups "Trag," "Teodulija," and "Iva" are set to perform in Banja Luka for the celebration of the Orthodox New Year, according to the City Administration of Banja Luka.

The program marking the Orthodox New Year on January 13 will commence at 9:00 PM in Parkić, the promenade near the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour.

"As in previous years, all our citizens and guests will have the opportunity to celebrate the Orthodox New Year in our city in a wonderful atmosphere and in the spirit of tradition," stated the City Administration.

Following the performances near the Cathedral, a prayer service (moleben) is scheduled at midnight to mark the Orthodox New Year, celebrated according to the Julian calendar.
