In the shelter on Manjača, near Banja Luka, numerous beautiful dogs of various breeds and characters are eagerly awaiting their owners and forever homes. Thanks to the "Adopt Love" campaign, 84 dogs found their permanent homes last year, while 14 dogs have been adopted this year.

According to the Department of Municipal Affairs, there is a growing interest among our citizens in adopting dogs.

- The City is committed to protecting animals, and this campaign aims to draw attention to the importance of adopting dogs from shelters, as evidenced by the number of adopted animals, said authorized signatory of the Department of Municipal Affairs, Boriša Mandić.

Anyone interested in having a pet can easily become a proud owner of one of the shelter dogs. It's important to note that adopting a dog from the shelter is free and straightforward. Moreover, it's worth mentioning that the dogs in the shelter are ready for adoption, as they have undergone a complete treatment, including veterinary examinations, sterilization, treatment against external and internal parasites, as well as a temperament test.

Efforts are actively underway to ensure that these animals find their owners, who will provide them with care and love, which these loyal friends of humans will undoubtedly reciprocate many times over.
