In the beautiful natural surroundings of the village of Do in Popovo Polje, nestled between the Bjelasnica and Vranjak mountain ranges, just 30 kilometers from the Adriatic coast, lies the family estate "ŠIŠIĆ." Surrounded by low forests, where Mediterranean and temperate-continental climates meet, this estate also offers rural agro-tourism.
The large Šišić family, operating as a registered family
agricultural business (PPG), has long been engaged in food production,
cultivating fruits, vegetables, grains, and other crops from indigenous
varieties on their own land. In addition to food production, they craft
handmade items such as woolen clothing and accessories, as well as stone-made
objects and decorations.
With preserved traditional crafts, tools, rich homemade culinary offerings, accommodation facilities, and stunning landscapes, the Šišić household is open to visitors.
Those who choose to visit the estate can enjoy the wide selection of local food and drinks, and also participate in daily agricultural activities, beekeeping, cooking and food preparation classes, and old craft workshops.
Visitors can also explore a museum of old artifacts.
Moreover, the summer amphitheater (an old stone threshing floor) serves as a
venue for art colonies, painting exhibitions, outdoor cinema, various lectures,
children's entertainment, and more. Nature lovers can enjoy walking, hiking,
and cycling trails.
For sports enthusiasts, there is a mini-sports field for
volleyball, basketball, and small football, as well as a court for bocce
(balote).
