The Tourist Organization of the City of Banja Luka has announced that Krupa na Vrbasu has received a prestigious recognition by being included on the Best Tourism Villages (BTV) 2025 list, awarded by UN Tourism (formerly UNWTO).
The award was presented during the BTV – UN Tourism Award Ceremony held in Huzhou, China, where Minja Šurlan, Director of the Banja Luka Tourist Organization, accepted the honor on behalf of the city.
The award was presented by Gao Zheng, Minister of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China, and Zurab Pololikashvili, Secretary-General of the United Nations for Tourism (UN Tourism).
“This global recognition confirms the exceptional tourism potential of Krupa na Vrbasu and its dedication to sustainable development, cultural heritage preservation, and protection of natural resources. Krupa na Vrbasu is now officially part of the global network of the world’s best rural destinations. We congratulate the entire community and everyone who contributed to this outstanding success,” stated the Banja Luka Tourist Organization.
