WHAT IS DUBAI CHOCOLATE AND HOW TO GET IT?

If you've spent any time on social media, you've likely come across the viral sensation known as Dubai Chocolate.

WHAT IS DUBAI CHOCOLATE AND HOW TO GET IT?

This dessert, originating from the renowned confectionery "The Fix" in Dubai, has gained global fame thanks to platforms like TikTok. Enthusiastic reviews and videos have made it a worldwide favorite, with people raving about the blend of creamy pistachio, crispy kadaif, and smooth chocolate.

The dessert features layers of finely roasted kadaif, paired with irresistible pistachio cream, creating an alluring contrast of textures and flavors. Kadaif, for those unfamiliar, consists of thin strands made from flour and water.

Thanks to its popularity, people from all over the world are trying to recreate their own versions of this sweet phenomenon. While not everyone can visit Dubai, the good news is that there are plenty of recipes that allow you to make this luxurious treat at home.

With just a few key ingredients—chocolate, pistachios, and kadaif—you can replicate this unique dessert. The recipes may vary, but the basics remain the same: roasted kadaif adds crispiness, pistachios provide a rich flavor, and layers of chocolate bring it all together.

Some versions include adjustments like different types of chocolate or added spices, but everyone agrees on one thing—Dubai Chocolate is a must-try hit!

INGREDIENTS:

400 g of chocolate

30 g of butter

150 g of kadaif

200 g of pistachio cream

INSTRUCTIONS:

Melt the Chocolate

Melt the chocolate and evenly spread it over the mold you plan to use for the chocolates.

A silicone mold works well, but if you don't have one, use a muffin or loaf pan lined with baking paper. Be sure to coat the sides of the mold with chocolate as well.

Prepare the Kadaif

Chop the kadaif into smaller pieces. Melt the butter in a pan and add the chopped kadaif.

Fry until it turns a light golden color and becomes crispy.

Mix the Pistachio Cream

Heat the pistachio cream slightly and mix it with the roasted kadaif.

Assemble the Dessert

Place the kadaif-pistachio mixture into the chocolate-coated mold. Pour another layer of melted chocolate over it.

Chill and Serve

Refrigerate until the dessert sets. Once firm, the chocolates are ready to serve.

Enjoy your homemade Dubai Chocolate—a dessert that's as visually stunning as it is delicious!
