Homemade chestnut purée is an autumn treat that awakens all the senses and flavors, and many say it's better than what you can find in pastry shops.

MAKE THE PERFECT AUTUMN CHESTNUT DESSERT

If you prepare chestnut purée, your whole house will be filled with its aroma, and this dessert will win you over from the very first bite.

Ingredients:

500 g chestnuts

2 packets of vanilla sugar

3 tablespoons of sugar

1 dl heavy cream

Preparation:

Wash the chestnuts, make small cuts on them, and place them in a pot. Add enough water to cover them and bring to a boil. Once the water starts boiling, cook for an additional 20 to 30 minutes.

Let the chestnuts cool slightly, then peel them, making sure to remove the thin inner skin as well. Grind the chestnuts in a blender, then add the sugar and slowly pour in the cream.

Decorate the chestnut purée with whipped cream.
