Students of the second and third year of the Geography study program, Tourism major, from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Banja Luka, together with their mentors, held a practical field class at Ljubačke Doline — a unique open-air ethnographic museum near Banja Luka that preserves more than 6,000 exhibits.
Accompanied by representatives of the Tourism Organization of the Republic of Srpska, the students were hosted by Nedeljko Branković, the owner and founder of the ethno village. He shared with them the inspiring story behind the creation of this remarkable site, as well as future plans for its development and the enhancement of the Ethno Museum Ljubačke Doline.
“This kind of experience is invaluable for future tourism professionals. It is out in the field, through encounters with people who create authentic tourism stories, that one truly learns how tourism comes to life,” stated the Tourism Organization of the Republic of Srpska in their post on social media.
