Zoran Vakula, a well-known meteorologist from Croatia, has highlighted that this week likely marks the end of the coldest part of winter.
"For a long-term forecast, nothing can be stated with certainty, but according to prognostic calculations, it is increasingly likely that the coldest part of this winter will end with this week. Of course, there will still be occasional subzero temperatures, some snowfall in certain areas, and possibly more snow in mountainous regions as early as next week. However, the chances of experiencing another stretch of such cold days, like the one we've had since last weekend, are quite low," he told HRT.
If his forecast proves accurate, those who are not fond of winter will soon have reason to rejoice, reports 24satahr.
