The celebration of the Children's New Year in Banja Luka is set to take place on December 31, starting at 11:00 AM in Petar Kočić Park.
As in previous years, the youngest residents of the largest city in Republika Srpska will have the honor of welcoming the New Year first. The festivities will feature Santa Claus, a ceremonial countdown at noon, and a rich musical program.
The celebration program kicks off at 11:00 AM at the Music Pavilion in Petar Kočić Park.
Children and their parents will enjoy performances by the "Vrapčići" Children's Choir, Đurđevdan Stars, "Mali Princ" Choir, participants from the "Little Composer" and "Children's Kingdom" festivals, DIS Theatre, Dance Studio "Gema," "Ježurko," and dance clubs "Blok" and "La Tambora BL."
“Our wish is for our youngest citizens to remember this celebration, enjoy the cheerful and warm atmosphere, and feel the joy of a holiday event tailored for children, together with their families,” said representatives of the "Vrapčići" Children's Choir, which is organizing the event in cooperation with the City of Banja Luka.
