LIGHTED FITNESS TRAILS ON RUJIKA HILL NEAR KOTOR VAROŠ

The installation of 12 lighting fixtures on the fitness trails at Rujika Hill near Kotor Varoš has marked the successful completion of a project aimed at enhancing this popular walking area.

Nemanja Knežević, Director of the Kotor Varoš Municipal Tourist Organization, stated that five benches had previously been placed along the trails and existing shelters were renovated.

"The Tourist Organization funded these improvements independently, and by installing the lighting, our citizens and numerous visitors now have an ideal place for walking, resting, and recreation, even in the evening hours," Knežević emphasized.

The upgraded area is accessible from three directions: from the Health Center, from Kotorište, and from above the "St. Petar" hotel.

"Our goal was to create a natural setting for walking and recreation, offering the community a new amenity and a refreshing escape, especially during the hot summer days. The trails will be clearly marked and will also be suitable for cyclists," Knežević added.
