In the village of Donja Krćina, near Ugljevik, lies the Hollow Rock, which is about 10 kilometers as the crow flies from the municipal center, and about 2 kilometers from the Tavna Monastery.
It can be approached from the road connecting the villages of Donja and Gornja Krćina. From the road, it takes a few minutes' walk to reach this place.
The Hollow Rock represents an interesting natural, more
precisely geomorphological form.
It's an opening in the rock, a hollow resembling a cave entrance. Many consider it a very shallow cave.
The opening is about 20 meters long, and its highest point
is around 3 meters. Beside the Hollow Rock flows the stream Domana, on which
several watermills are preserved, complementing the landscape of the site.
This site is often visited by nature lovers, excursionists,
and mountaineers.
The Hollow Rock is one of the places visited by mountaineers
every year as part of the "Tavna" action, organized by the
Mountaineering Society "Majevica" from Bijeljina.
